OUR MISSION
Best Kept Secret Stop the Violence Organization, we believe that preventing violence begins with empowering and investing in our youth.
As a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to improving the lives of underserved and minority youth who have been impacted by crime and adverse life circumstances. We work to address critical community challenges, including homelessness, food insecurity, and limited access to healthcare and supportive services.
Our mission is to empower young women and men nationwide by fostering leadership, accountability, resilience, and trust. Through mentorship, education, and community engagement, we equip youth with the tools and support necessary to overcome obstacles, achieve personal growth, and build successful futures.
Through impactful initiatives such as the Ambassador Program, Youth Prevention Nights, and Mentorship Programs, Best Kept Secret provides safe spaces, positive guidance, and meaningful opportunities for at-risk youth. Our goal is to inspire lasting change, strengthen communities, and help create a safer and more promising future for the next generation.

ABOUT US
Founded in 2005, Best Kept Secret Stop the Violence was established in response to the tragic loss of a family member in Suffolk, Virginia. This life-changing experience inspired a lasting commitment to addressing the impact of violence within our communities and creating meaningful opportunities for prevention, healing, and empowerment.
Since our founding, we have remained dedicated to supporting youth and families affected by violence by providing safe, supportive environments where young people can express themselves, build confidence, and develop positive life skills. Through mentorship, community outreach, and prevention-focused initiatives, we work to inspire hope, encourage personal growth, and strengthen community relationships.
At Best Kept Secret Stop the Violence, we believe that lasting change begins with compassion, leadership, and collective action. Together, we are committed to building safer neighborhoods, empowering future generations, and promoting peace within the communities we serve.
